Publication Ethics

Cipta Abdi Cendekia Journal is highly committed to upholding the ethical standards of publication ethics. Editors, reviewers, and authors involved in this journal are expected to understand and comply with the norms and principles of scientific publication. Although Cipta Abdi Cendekia Journal is not yet a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the journal strictly follows COPE’s guidelines and core practices in maintaining publication integrity. Section A: Publication and Authorship1. All submitted manuscripts undergo a strict peer-review process by at least two reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. 2. The review process is conducted through a double-blind peer review system. 3. Criteria considered in the review process include relevance, originality, significance, methodological soundness, clarity, and language quality. 4. Editorial decisions may include acceptance, acceptance with revisions, or rejection. 5. Revision and resubmission do not guarantee acceptance. 6. Rejected manuscripts will not be re-reviewed. 7. The acceptance of a paper must comply with applicable legal requirements regarding libel, copyright, and plagiarism. 8. A manuscript must not be submitted to or published in more than one journal simultaneously. Section B: Authors’ Responsibilities1. Authors must ensure that their manuscript is an original work. 2. Authors must guarantee that the manuscript has not been previously published elsewhere. 3. Authors must confirm that the manuscript is not under consideration in another journal. 4. Authors are expected to actively participate in the peer-review process. 5. Authors must provide corrections or retractions when significant errors are discovered. 6. All listed authors must have made substantial contributions to the research or community service activity. 7. Authors must ensure the authenticity and accuracy of the data presented. 8. Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest. 9. Authors must properly cite all sources used in the preparation of the manuscript. 10. Authors must promptly report errors identified in their published work to the editors. Section C: Reviewers’ Responsibilities1. Reviewers must treat all manuscripts as confidential and privileged information. 2. Reviews must be conducted objectively, without personal bias or criticism. 3. Reviewers should provide constructive feedback supported by clear arguments. 4. Reviewers should identify relevant works that have not been cited by the authors. 5. Reviewers must notify the editors of any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under review and other works. 6. Reviewers should decline to review manuscripts where conflicts of interest exist due to competitive, collaborative, or other relationships with the authors or institutions. Section D: Editors’ Responsibilities1. Editors hold full authority and responsibility for the acceptance or rejection of manuscripts. 2. Editors are accountable for the content and overall quality of the publication. 3. Editors should balance the interests of authors and readers in improving the quality of the journal. 4. Editors must ensure the integrity of academic records and uphold research ethics. 5. Editors are responsible for issuing corrections, clarifications, or retractions when necessary. 6. Editors should be transparent regarding sources of research funding. 7. Editorial decisions should be based solely on the manuscript’s originality, clarity, relevance, and contribution to the field. 8. Editors should not overturn previous editorial decisions without valid justification. 9. Editors must maintain reviewer anonymity throughout the review process. 10. Editors should ensure all published research complies with recognized ethical guidelines. 11. Editors should only accept papers when confident of their validity. 12. Editors must act on suspected misconduct and pursue resolution whether the paper is published or unpublished. 13. Editors should not reject papers based merely on suspicion without sufficient evidence. 14. Editors must prevent any conflicts of interest between staff, authors, reviewers, and editorial board members. |
