Peer Review Process

Cipta Abdi Cendekia Journal applies the following peer review policies:

1.     Initial Screening

o   All submitted manuscripts must comply with the journal’s focus and scope as well as the author guidelines.

o   Manuscripts must present scientific merit, novelty, or significant contributions related to education, health, training, and community empowerment.

o   Manuscripts must be free from plagiarism. Authors are encouraged to check similarity using plagiarism detection software prior to submission.

o   Editors will conduct plagiarism screening using Turnitin or similar software.

2.     Editorial Evaluation

o   The editors will evaluate the suitability of the manuscript in terms of scope, formatting, and compliance with the journal template.

o   During this stage, the editor may communicate with the authors to request revisions or may decide to decline the manuscript before peer review.

3.     Peer Review Process

o   Manuscripts that pass the editorial screening will be sent to at least two (2) expert reviewers.

o   The journal applies a double-blind review system, where both reviewers and authors remain anonymous.

4.     Review Criteria

o   Reviewers will assess manuscripts based on originality, scientific quality, methodology, objectivity, results and discussion, conclusions, and references.

o   Reviewers provide constructive comments to help authors improve their manuscripts.

5.     Reviewer Recommendations

o   Based on the review, reviewers may recommend acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection.

o   Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers’ comments and suggestions.

6.     Editorial Decision

o   The editor makes the final decision on acceptance or rejection based on reviewers’ recommendations and overall manuscript quality.

o   The decision of the editor is final and cannot be contested.

7.     Publication Decision

o   Accepted articles will be processed for layout and proofreading before publication.

o   The sequence of publication is determined by the Editor-in-Chief considering the acceptance date, thematic issues, and geographical diversity of the authors.
