Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Submission Procedure

  • Manuscript submission is conductedonline through the Cipta Abdi Cendekia Journal website using the Open Journal System (OJS) 3.3.0.21.
  • First-time users mustregister before submitting. Registered users can directly log in and begin the five-step submission process.
  • Detailed instructions are available on the website. For technical problems, authors may contact the journal via email or phone listed in the contact section.
  • Submitted manuscripts must follow thejournal’s focus and scope, comply with the author guidelines, and use the official article template.
  • File format: Microsoft Word (.docx or .doc).

General Writing Rules

  1. The article must include: Title, Author(s), Abstract (English & Indonesian), Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgment (if any), and References.
  2. Manuscripts may be written inBahasa Indonesia or English.
  3. Format:A4 paper, single column, 2 cm margins on all sides.
  4. Font:Times New Roman, size 10 pt, 1.5 spacing. Length: 8–14 pages.
  5. Equations (if any) must be written usingMicrosoft Equation.
  6. Tables: Title above the table, numbered consecutively (Table 1, Table 2, etc.), single-spaced, without vertical lines. Sources must be cited if data are secondary.
  7. Figures: Title below the figure, numbered consecutively (Figure 1, Figure 2, etc.). Sources must be included if taken from literature; if original (author’s data), no citation needed.
  8. Referencesmust use Vancouver style (superscript numbering) and be managed with Mendeley or EndNote. At least 80% of references should be from journals, preferably within the last 5 years.

Organization of Article (Community Service Article)

  1. Title
    • Concise, clear, maximum18 words.
    • Include full name(s) of the author(s) and affiliation(s). Use symbols/numbers if authors are from multiple institutions.
  2. Abstract
    • Written inBahasa Indonesia and English.
    • Maximum250 words, structured with background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusion.
    • Include3–5 keywords.
  3. Introduction
    • Contains background, problem identification, objectives, and significance of the community service activity.
  4. Methods
    • Clearly explain the approach, location, time, participants/community involved, stages of implementation, and evaluation techniques.
  5. Results and Discussion
    • Present the outcomes of the community service activities in narrative, tables, or figures.
    • Discuss the impact, challenges, and relevance of the activities to community needs, as well as comparisons with similar programs if relevant.
  6. Conclusion and Recommendation
    • Summarize the main outcomes and implications of the activity.
    • Provide recommendations for future programs or policy improvements.
  7. Acknowledgment (optional)
    • Mention supporting institutions, funding, or individuals who contributed.
  8. References
    • Written in Vancouver superscript style.
    • At least 80% should be recent journal articles (last 5 years).

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submission, authors must ensure that:

  1. The manuscript is original, not previously published, and not under consideration in another journal.
  2. The file format is Microsoft Word (.docx or .doc).
  3. URLs for references (if available) are provided.
  4. Figures, tables, and references are placed in the text (not at the end).
  5. The manuscript complies with the journal template and blind review requirements.
