Phytomedicine and Integrative Health Journal (PIHJ) is published using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP). OJS is an open-source journal management and publishing system that ensures a transparent, efficient, and standardized publishing process.

- The OJS platform supports thedouble-blind peer review process, ensuring anonymity between authors and reviewers.
- Reviewers are able to submit comments and recommendations securely through the system.
- Editorial Workflow
- Editors manage submissions from initial screening to final decision within the system.
- Communication between authors, reviewers, and editors is centralized, documented, and accessible only to authorized users.
- Copyediting and Production
- Once accepted, manuscripts go through copyediting, proofreading, and layout preparation using the platform.
- Final versions are uploaded inPDF, HTML, or XML formats to ensure accessibility across devices.
- Open Access Publishing
- PIHJ follows anopen-access policy, with all articles published freely available online immediately upon release.
