Publishing System

The Journal of Clinical and Community Health (JCCH) implements a transparent and rigorous publishing system to ensure the quality, integrity, and accessibility of all published works. The publishing process consists of the following stages:

1. Manuscript Submission

  • Authors submit manuscripts electronically through the JCCH online submission system (or official email, if applicable).

  • All submissions must follow the journal’s author guidelines and formatting requirements.

  • Incomplete submissions or manuscripts with placeholder content (e.g., lorem ipsum) will be rejected without review.

2. Initial Editorial Screening

  • The editorial team evaluates manuscripts for scope, originality, structure, and compliance with ethical standards.

  • Manuscripts that fail to meet the basic criteria will be returned to authors or rejected at this stage.

3. Plagiarism Check

  • Each manuscript undergoes plagiarism detection using reliable similarity-check software.

  • Manuscripts with significant overlap or suspected plagiarism will be rejected automatically.

4. Peer Review Process

  • Eligible manuscripts are sent for double-blind peer review to at least two independent reviewers.

  • Reviewers assess the manuscript’s quality, methodology, ethical standards, and contribution to the field.

  • Based on reviewer feedback, the editorial board makes a decision: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.

5. Revision and Resubmission

  • Authors are required to address reviewers’ comments and resubmit within the specified time frame.

  • Revised manuscripts may undergo additional review before a final decision is made.

6. Final Acceptance and Copyediting

  • Once accepted, manuscripts proceed to copyediting, formatting, and proofreading to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with journal style.

  • Authors will have the opportunity to review proofs before publication.

7. Online Publication

  • Articles are published online on the JCCH website as open-access content under a CC BY 4.0 license.

  • Each article is assigned a unique DOI (Digital Object Identifier) to ensure permanent accessibility and citation.

8. Indexing and Archiving

  • Published articles are preserved in the JCCH digital archive and deposited in relevant repositories to ensure long-term accessibility.

  • JCCH actively seeks indexing in major academic databases to enhance visibility and impact.
